Below you will find a list of the basic skills and techniques you will need to get off to a good start to your boxing training

Orthodox stance is for right handed boxers

Feet and Hands; your feet should be in the 2 o'clock position. Your hands should be protecting your chin.

Facing the Punch Bag. Do not face the punch bag square on. Make yourself into a smaller target by standing at an angle side on.

Face the bag with your shoulders at an angle

Together with punch bag work, practice warm ups, endurance and conditioning alongside, to avoid injury and tiredness during boxing sessions.
