Terms of service
These terms apply to every order you place on this website. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Who we are
This website is run by RCL Designs Ltd, trading as Drill Mat, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11872894). Registered office: 28 Harvesters Close, Isleworth, TW7 7PP, United Kingdom. Email: don@boxingdrillmat.co.uk.
2. Your order and our contract
When you place an order you will get an email acknowledging it. That is not yet acceptance. Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock or there is a pricing error, we will tell you and will not charge you (or will refund you in full).
3. Our products
We try to show our products accurately. Colours may look slightly different on screen. The Drill Mat fits punch bags with a circumference of about 37 to 42 inches (94 to 107 cm). A punch bag and stand are not included.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Standard UK delivery is free. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we have made an obvious pricing mistake, we will contact you before dispatch and you can cancel for a full refund.
5. Delivery
Delivery times and areas are set out in our Shipping policy. If we are delayed by events outside our control, we will let you know and do what we can to limit the delay. The mat is your responsibility once it is delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order without giving a reason. We extend this to 30 days. How to return items and how refunds work is set out in our Refund policy. This right applies to consumers, not to business or trade purchases.
7. Faulty goods and your legal rights
We must supply goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If your mat is faulty, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a refund within 30 days and a repair, replacement or refund after that. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. Citizens Advice can tell you more: citizensadvice.org.uk.
8. Safe use
Boxing training involves physical effort and contact. Warm up first, wear wraps and gloves, check the mat and your bag are secure before each session, and stop if you feel pain. Make sure your punch bag and stand are suitable and correctly installed. Children should only train under adult supervision. If you have a medical condition, check with a doctor before starting a new exercise routine.
9. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for damage caused by using the mat with unsuitable equipment or in a way that ignores our guidance. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for it, except where the law does not allow this.
10. Intellectual property
The Drill Mat design is protected by registered designs (UK, EU) and design patents (US, China). The website content, images, videos, drills and punch chart belong to RCL Designs Ltd. You may use them for your own personal training but may not copy, sell or reproduce them without our written permission.
11. Your personal data
We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy policy.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy, please email us first and we will try to put it right. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this website when you placed it.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring them in your local courts.
